Tyloxapol : A nonionic liquid surfactant (BioVision Inc.)

Tyloxapol is a nonionic liquid polymer of the alkyl aryl polyether alcohol type that is used as a surfactant to aid liquefaction. Tyloxapol is used in the development of non-ionic surfactant-based liposomes (niosomes) for use in drug delivery systems. Tyloxapol may be used to study its mechanism of protecting macrophages from endotoxins.

A non-ionic detergent useful for the extraction of membrane-bound proteins as well as isolation of nuclei from mammalian cell lines.

Tween® 20, MegaPure™ Detergent, 10% Solution (BioVision Inc.)

A non-ionic detergent useful for the isolation of membrane-bound proteins under non-denaturing conditions.

A non-ionic detergent with a low cloud point (23 °C) assisting in protein solubilization with phase-partitioning of hydrophilic from amphiphilic proteins.

A non-ionic detergent useful for the isolation of membrane-bound proteins under non-denaturing conditions. Also useful for 2D-electrophoresis applications.
