KEY FEATURES:• Sulfo-NHS assists in stabilizing the protein-EDC intermediate, thus allowing for a more efficient crosslinking reaction.• Water-soluble; can be used under physiologic conditions• Assists in converting carboxyl groups to sulfo-NHS esters which react with primary aminesAPPLICATIONS:• Increases the efficiency of EDC-mediated coupling reactions• Useful for covalently binding proteins or peptides to carboxyl containing beads, resins, or other nanoparticles• Assists in converting carboxyl groups to primary amine-reactive sulfo-NHS esters
