Flow cytometric analysis of BMP15 was done on Hela cells. The cells were fixed, permeabilized and stained with the primary antibody (bsm-54683R,1/50) (red). After incubation of the primary antibody at room temperature for an hour, the cells were stained with a Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary antibody at 1/1000 dilution for 30 minutes.Unlabelled sample was used as a control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; black).
Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded Mouse ovarian; Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with BMP15 Monoclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bsm-54683R) at 1:200 for 30 minutes at room temperature, DAB staining.

The BMP15 protein is a member of the bone morphogenetic protein family which is part of the transforming growth factor beta superfamily. The transforming growth factor beta superfamily includes large families of growth and differentiation factors. It is thought that BMP15 may be involved in oocyte maturation and follicular development as a homodimer, or by forming heterodimers with a related protein, Gdf9. |
