Maleimide Activated KLH is a commonly used carrier protein for haptens, (small or low molecular weight molecules and peptides used to enable the immune response). Maleimide Activated KLH is the most popular carrier protein used for antibody production. BioVision’s Maleimide Activated KLH-Peptide Conjugation Kit allows the conjugation of peptide hapten molecules containing sulfhydryl groups to Maleimide Activated KLH carrier protein. The kit contains all the necessary reagents including the Maleimide Activated KLH carrier protein, buffers and columns to purify the peptide hapten-carrier protein conjugates from the unreacted hapten.
