An analytical balance is a highly accurate laboratory balance designed to determine an object’s mass precisely. The objects could be solid, liquid, granular substances, or powders. It is also known as laboratory balance which is class II balance. The balance is extremely sensitive since it provides precise measurement having readability of up to 0.00001 grams (0.01 mg), and is often used in labs. It detects the weight of an object of 100g to within ± 0.01 mg.
