The centrifuge incorporates a microprocessor control system for precise operation and includes an imbalance detection mechanism using a three-axis gyroscope to prevent damage in case of uneven sample distribution. A motorized electronic door lock ensures safe operation, preventing the door from opening while the rotor is spinning. The gas hinge mechanism further enhances safety by preventing the door from falling unexpectedly.

The BL-LD5M is constructed with high-quality materials, including a thick and strong steel housing for durability and a food-grade 304 stainless steel chamber for easy cleaning and corrosion resistance. The centrifuge is equipped with a steel or stainless-steel swing-out rotor, which is autoclavable for sterilization purposes.
